Hello! Welcome to our farm.
We are located in rural Ste. Genevieve County, Missouri. We are about 1 hour south of St. Louis, MO. We raise purebred ADGA Nubian goats. My daughter raises ADGA LaMancha goats. We also have dogs and cats.
We have 1 teenager and 1 soon to be a teenager and 2 small children. We home school our children. The children help us with animals. We love to have animals to keep us busy and look forward to seeing the babies being born. It is so much fun! We are going to try to do the goat showing soon. Right now my hands are full. We should be hoping to do this next year.
We are CAE negative and there is no CL (abcesses) on our farm. We try our best to have a good genetics in the goats. We use biotacking lab for CAE and pregnancy test. We do not let the dams nurse the babies. We bottle feed the babies so they can be handled easier! We use coccidia medications for prevention (not for treating). We also use worming if the goats needs it. We do not pasteurized the milk because we know that their dams are from longtime breeder that practice CAE. This year it looks like I am going to use cows colostrum and cows milk for the babies due I need goats milk for my lil girl.
We try to make sure that our goats do their job well for our farm. We have the goats because we want lots of milk from them for cheese, soaps, lotions and many more. We have Hoanbu, Wingwood, Lakeshore-Farms, Kastdemur's, Riverside Ranch, Dream Girls, Prairie Nights bloodlines in our goats.
We will have some changes for breeding/kidding going on and for sale. We do sell soaps, lotions and milk.
Thank you for visiting and your interest.
